For a holiday in Wales with mountain views, Glendower Holiday Park is set in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains in the rural village of Llangynog.
Glendower is run by the Eyres family. Ryan manages the park with his wife Lucy and two young children Oliver and Harriet. Both have grown up on farms in the Tanat Valley.
The countryside around Llangynog offers walking to suit all levels of fitness, with marked footpaths almost from the park gate. Rhaeadr Falls (the highest waterfall in Wales) is just 6 miles or a 2-2.5 hr walk away, and nearby Lakes Bala & Vyrnwy offer a wide range of water sports and fishing. The coast is just over an hour away. The park is a short stroll away from two local pubs which serve good, reasonably priced meals. The village also boasts a thriving Crown Green Bowling Club.
